With two out, 13 straight Pericos hitter reached base in 11-run third as Cesar Tapia singled twice with four RBIs in frame.

Victor Diaz doubled in Jose Chavez, then scored on Ramon Castro triple in first to give Aguilas a 2-0 lead.

Emmanuel Valdez was 3-for-5 with three-run homer and four RBIs for Vaqueros as Esteban Yan struck out 10 in seven innings.

30 HITS? And Saltillo had 10 themselves? How long did that game last?

Not as long as I would have thought. It lasted 3:30, or just enough for one more cerveza. I guess they were swinging early. And often.
